The SLC Highlighted Projects (HP) showcase original, innovative initiatives that have been recently launched by students and/or a community group. This is an opportunity for their projects and ideas to be presented in front of a group of fellow peers and alumni, who will then have the chance to provide valuable feedback and support.
Along with the regular Highlighted Projects session in Concurrent Session #1, a new and exciting part of this year’s HP stream is to have HP presenters and delegates take part in Freeflow during Lunchtime Session #1/2 and “Lead With Your Heart: How to Do What You Love and Live Your Best Life” presented by Katie Jeanes, UBC alumna and the founder of A Little More Good in Concurrent Session #2.
Presenters, delegates, community partners and alumni will have the chance to network, collaborate, and connect with each other to bring new ideas to life, and to take the SLC Highlighted Projects beyond the one-day conference experience.
