Had a great time volunteering at this year’s conference and would like to help make 2013′s the best ever!
I LOVED the 2012 conference! As a first year, and a volunteer, I was impressed by all that went on this year, and would be so grateful if I could be a bigger part of it in my second year. In my opinion, the student leadership conference is a cornerstone to UBC life, and I believe that the passion and enthusiasm as well as the dedication by the committee to make this event a success will be forwarded to the future generations of this conference. It is my hope to be a part of this committee that brings so many intelligent and dedicated people together to become inspired and to learn how to better themselves in order to make a change for the world. With inspiration, we are able to begin the path to success, but up to the individual to take the knowledge with them in order to grow and succeed in their lives and careers and grow with their experiences and knowledge. As a growing leader myself, I hope that this opportunity will inspire me to make better choices throughout university and help me to be the best individual that I can be.
